// who we are

offnext is a personal travel planning app built by Prasad Gupte. You can reach us at privacy@offnext.to.

// what we collect

We collect only what is necessary to make the app work:

• Account: email address and display name (via Apple Sign-in or magic link)
• Travel history: flights you log (routes, airlines, dates, cabin, seat), countries visited, and dates
• Trip data: trip itineraries, daily schedules, activities, notes, and expenses you create
• Preferences: travel pace, budget style, dietary needs, and similar preferences you share during onboarding
• Photos: images you choose to attach to trips or activities (stored securely, GPS stripped on upload unless you opt in)
• Location: your current location, when the app is open and a trip is active, to show you on the trip map. We do not track location in the background.
• Push token: a device token so we can send you trip reminders (e.g. flight check-in opens in 2 hours). You can disable this in device settings at any time.

// how we use it

• To show you your trips, flights, and countries on your own device
• To sync your data across your devices via PowerSync
• To generate personalised quizzes and travel prompts based on your own history
• To send trip-related push notifications you have opted into
• To let you share specific trips with people you explicitly invite

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. Ever.

// who we share it with

Your data is stored on Supabase (Postgres database hosted on AWS). It is not shared with any third party except:

• Apple — if you use Sign in with Apple, Apple processes authentication
• Expo — push notification tokens are routed through Expo's push service to Apple's APNs
• Anthropic — if you use the AI trip planner, your trip parameters are sent to Claude to generate an itinerary. No personal profile data is included.

// children

offnext supports child accounts (e.g. for family trips). Child accounts have reduced data collection: exact GPS coordinates, prices, and private confirmation numbers are hidden from their view and not synced to their device. A guardian must confirm access before a child account is activated. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

// your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account). This permanently removes your flights, trips, photos, and preferences from our servers within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to access, correct, or port your data — email us at privacy@offnext.to.

// data retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days. Push tokens are removed immediately on sign-out.
